Red Light Cameras harm War on Drugs and Guns

Legislative panel reapproves 'PhotoCop'

"Essentially what we are saying: Is the vehicle is guilty, not the person?" asked Sen. Julianne Ortmann, R-Chanhassen. "I want a police officer there. Maybe there are drugs in the car. Maybe there is a weapon. Be we will never know."

Seriously!? We need more police stopping red light runners because they might have drugs?! We only want to pull over people to find other problems through barely having probable cause? WTF?
