Busses: haven for criminals?

Altercation on bus ends with man's killing

Bank robber stops at liquor store, food store, before getaway on bus

Yes, I know normal people use the bus, but you wouldn't think so from the STrib headlines this week.. Bank robbers and killers, oh my!

Route 10 and Route 5, as popular as they are, are the only 2 routes I've heard of issues on. I've personally seen an altercation or three on the 10, just because I've ridden it far more than the 5 (which I've ridden once). The 10 ran up near where I lived, so I used it a bit more.

The real issue is that this is going to allow some to say that transit breeds badness, therefore suburbs do not need transit. That would be a bad thing, because the metro as a whole needs transportation options.
