A pile of right-leaning bloggers had a gathering at the governor's residence this week.
McClung said those invited were culled from groups associated with the local conservative blog Powerline, which received acclaim for its role criticizing CBS' now-debunked report on memos related to President Bush's National Guard service. McClung said there was no intent to exclude local bloggers who might be critical of Pawlenty or have more left-leaning or progressive points of view.
Why not just say, "Yeah, we invited people that like us. You think Cheney invited the green party to his energy task force?"
I'm also miffed that the Strib couldn't bother to use peoples real times, I mean, Captian Ed? Hes been on TV for crying out loud. Do a google search and you'll quickly find out its Edward Morrissey. The pundit has a name, for crying out loud. Lets use it. If we don't know the name, the pen name should at least be used.
Minimally, I know I'm an interested citizen. I'm not going to spend time trying to get on the news, to get some interview, etc. I've written to newspapers before as a letter to the editor -- but this isn't extraordinary. I'm not here for the attention, I'm here for viewpoints I hold to be true.
