Your Car Costs More than My Bus Trip

Editorial: Abolish council?/No; metro body is a major asset: It turns out some conservatives want to replace an appointed board with a single commissioner instead of an elected board. Yikes!

But worse, they claim that Auto Travel is the benefit of the free market and that Transit is "social engineering".

Last I checked, the total costs of transit are far less than driving a car every day.
